Natalie Yiaxi is a Cypriot artist (b.Nicosia).
Her work explores, transforms, and 'translates' quotidian experiences, occurrences, and materials through an ever-expanding set of practices, ranging from text, artists' books, and drawing to sculpture, video, and sound.
In 2018, she co-founded the artist-run gallery PARTY Contemporary (2018-2020), and in 2016 she began publishing her text-based artist's books under the Bast Fooks imprint. She was a DESTE Prize finalist in 2015. In 2013 she co-represented the Republic of Cyprus in the 55th Venice Biennale.
She lives and works in Nicosia.
